I am really excited about summer 2022 at SMBC! I believe God has great things in store! My hope and prayer is always continued spiritual growth as we worship and receive God’s Word, encouragement through fellowship together, and evangelism by getting out the gospel. We have opportunity for each of these this summer.

We are kicking it off with a bang as we participate in the MetroFest community event on Saturday, June 11th. This will allow us the great opportunity to show the love of Christ to our community. Being believers and followers of Jesus is more than attending services on Sunday, it’s also showing the love of Christ to our community. Let’s do that this Saturday!

We’ll also enjoy some fun and fellowship together, as well as times of growth in His Word. Here is our schedule for the summer months of June, July, and August. As always, some things could change or adjust in some ways, but here is what we are looking forward to:

In addition to these social events, I’m excited about the sermon series we are in on Sundays and Wednesdays. On Sunday mornings, we’ll continue going through 2 Timothy. And on Wednesday nights, we are starting the Book of Proverbs tonight! Proverbs helps us to live and walk in wisdom in our daily lives. I hope you’ll join in on all these events, activities, and services as we continue to grow in grace!

I’m looking forward to a great summer with you! Be praying, attending, and inviting!
